Following the launch of the ‘pre-Beta' service we want to share with you the main service open issues and bugs. We are placing high priority in resolving the open issues and fix the major open bugs. Please use this blog to comment on any issues you related to the blog.
Known Issues
Linked Document/Notes/Discussion missing from Info Layer
Within the current project tab, the Info Layer area on top of the roadmap displays relative information per project record. However, details per milestone and task are not displayed in the area.
Online Help
Online Help for each component/panel is required.
Missing option to view Resource Usage in Resource dialog
From the resource dialog, there is only the option to move persons from the available resources table to the assigned resources table. There is no option to view resource usage per person.
Improved description for manual set columns in grid are missing
Cells of which you can enter or edit data are not clearly marked as editable. Double click the cell to edit. The font color changes to blue after data content has been manually changed.
If record text is grayed out and italicized, you can not edit the field.

Conflicts and status columns
Tooltip information on conflict and status icons is limited. Currently there is no option to navigate directly from the conflict icon to the relevant entity to resolve the conflict. User has to navigate through the relevant task/milestone/project.

Users access to parent project
Users that are assigned to tasks but are not manager/project manager are not able to view the parent project. However, user (except for External users) can access the parent project via the search function.
Resource Usage
When viewing the resource usage report for multiple users, you need to expand each user's folder in order to view details.
The displayed time scale is per week. You can go to next or previous weeks but there is currently no option to zoom in or out per day or month.
The report displays tasks in both active and draft states. Currently you can not filter between the two state options.
Options in grid action menu
The following options are currently not available from the action menu on the WBS grid:
- Add dependency
- Add document
- Add notes
- Open discussion
These actions are currently available from the relevant tab in the Info card.
Undo is currently not available
The system automatically saves changes to the database.
MS-Project Import (New Users)
New users added to Clarizen's system through MS-Project import, will not receive an email with a password. However, when the users are given access to the system, they can select the ‘Forgot Your Password?' option to reset their password. If the users do not have email addresses, the email will be sent to the person who initiated the import.
MS-Project Import (Dates)
Dates of projects imported from MS-Project are calculated per business days. Ellapsed time is currently not available in Clarizen's system.
Bugs
Missing Info card option from WBS grid action menu
Once closing the Info card, there is no option to re-open it from the grid action menu. User has to navigate to the panel selector on the right corner of the info layer to re-open the info card panel.
Delay reflection of user permission changes
When a user permissions are changed, for example a user is made manager of a milestone or parent task, it might take a few minutes for the system to reflect the change. During this time the user might not be able to perform actions permitted by the new role.
Overlap of milestone images in Roadmap
When two milestones have the same due dates, the graphic display of the roadmap reflects two diamond images one overlapping the other. When standing on the relevant record in the WBS, the roadmap will display the relevant milestone accordingly.
Auto save duration
After making a change to a record in the grid, user must allow enough time for change to be saved to the database. Occasionally, when not allowing enough time, an error is displayed.
Browser status bar indicates when data is being sent to the server.
Search Results
User can not open full note text of selected objects in the search results sub-system. In order to read, select the Go To Task from the record action menu.
Mark as Completed
Activities are not automatically marked as Completed after completion reporting was updated to 100%.
Account Creation impacts template dates
During account creation, template entities (milestone/task/sub-project) might be created with same dates. When changed by the user, a conflict might occur, or they might be marked as manually set. Workaround: create a new account, create a project and change it's dates, save as template and use this template to create new projects.
