Scenario:
-Task 1 has 3 resources: 1 internal user, 1 external user, 1 email only user.
-Task 1 is reportable.
----Out of the 3 resources, who receives the time sheet email set up in system settings?
----Is it, or will it be possible in the future, to set up time tracking by user? As in, I want external users to report their time but not the internal user (for instance the CEO does not need to report time (he won't want the email either), but he might be a resource) |

Hi Shelly. If that task is reportable, all 3 of them will receive the email. We are planning to add many more customization options to Clarizen, and custom email alerts and roles will very likely be included at some point in the future. |

One more thing, in this scenario you are much better off breaking up Task 1 to three sub tasks where each one will be assigned to a different resource. This way you can make some of the sub tasks reportable and some not. They will still all roll up to Task 1. |

I am surprised that the email only user would receive the timesheet update also? |

Gil, I was thinking about that, I figured that would be my option unless something else was available. |
