Does the work week, work hours a day, and days per month that is set up in the organization settings affect the scheduling of the projects? Thanks

Absolutely. For example, if your work week is from Monday to Thursday, no work will be scheduled by default on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Work hours per day has a similar effect. If your work day is 6 hours and you schedule a 9 hour task, then that task will take up all of 1 day and half of a second day. Days per month primarily has an effect if you as scheduling things in month increments (entering 1mo, 2mo in duration).

One more thing that I forgot to mention. For the duration in your schedule, you can also set consecutive days that will ignore non-working days like weekends and holidays. All you do is add a "c" before the time unit. So if you want to create a task that spans 6 days including weekends and holidays, you can schedule it for 6cd (instead of 6d). 12 consecutive hours would be 12ch, and 5 consecutive weeks would be 5cw.

the abilty do define a work schedule that is inconsistent would catter to our organization, I have not mentioned this before but as a fact we work Sun- Wen 7:15 am - 5 pm and thur 7:15 am - 3pm - appropriate for the location and the production.
I would like to be able to plan as per this definition - I wonder if this can be accomidated in Clarizen.

We'll be able to accommodate this in the future with personal calendars.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the release after 4.3 but it is not set in stone and could easily be a release after. We have some big development plans for 2010 and it could push certain features back.
