Clarizen users, this post is what I call customer driven. As you all know, Clarizen 4.3 will be available this weekend, and I wanted to post a list  of enhancements that were all driven by you and your teams. please look for the upcoming tips and tricks for 4.3


 

Time Tracking

1.       Daily hours summary in the timesheet –you can now see the total reported hours per day in a timesheet

2.       Add hyperlink to work item in the timesheet that navigates to the appropriate work item

3.       You can now decide which items of the project should be reported by time sheet, and which by e-mail

 

Roadmap

1.       Show all sub projects operation added to show the milestones of all sub projects in the Roadmap panel

2.       When selecting Roadmap layout view in Current project tab, you can now see an expanded frame with all sub projects’ milestones.

3.       Roadmap is now shown all the way, no showing black areas

4.       Fiscal year saving and representation within roadmap

 

Project Portfolio

1.       Ability for super users to link projects which they have no role in

2.       Improved project search for linking projects

3.       Ability to link multi projects in one operation (Available soon)

 

Resource Management

1.       Ability to create Groups by resources, skill sets and job titles           

2.       Ability to filter out resource list while assignment, based on groups, skills and job titles

3.       Ability to filter resource load screen for Active/Draft tasks

4.       See resource load on the project level, as well on task level

5.       Resource load screen in now a floating window, which allows you to plan and see load in parallel

6.       Show previous & next resource load conflicts within resource load screen

7.       See the Resource planned work per project (Report)

 

Usability improvements

1.       Client side performance optimization to allow faster response times for the work plan activities

2.       Cell editing – you can now copy a cell, and paste it to multiple cell in a single operation. (Copy/Multi paste)

3.       Support filtering for complex columns (resources, customers, etc) in custom grids

4.       Additional values added to Project Phase, Document Type pickup and Expense Category

5.       Additional properties added to different entities to ease up integration

o   Work items - Internal Project ID, SKU and Order ID

o   Users – Internal user ID

o   Customer - Internal customer ID

6.       Add Due date column to the dependency grid in current project + work items (for both dependency + progress impact lists)

7.       Add “Budgeted Work” field to workitems to track predicted work against plan and actual work

8.       No login link in progress report emails for email only user

9.       Added ‘Go to project’ to the action menu when working in an hierarchical project

 

Project Management

1.       Add Due date column to the dependency grid in current project + work items (for both dependency + progress impact lists)

2.       Add "All" to project panel in home page and to all work item types in the "work items" panel

3.       Add budget status indicator that will be calculated based on the CPI (Coming Soon)

4.       Add the "committed date" column in the Gantt, and in Bars’ tooltips

5.       Improve Branch Rescheduling, for rescheduling the entire branch of activities
