Request to update sent

When I send a "request to update" a task - the person / resource may receive more than one notice; one reminder daily automatically sent from the system, another by my intervention and additional manual requests from PM's . The person resource receives reminders from different initiators - when I send a reminder requesting an update I rely on my memory when I last sent a request . I suggest 1) limiting /not allowing more than one update request per day to be sent per task 2) Notifying the initiator of the reminder that a reminder has already be sent today (either notifying or having a way to identify that a request was sent on MM/DD/YY)

I think it could be enough to notify the initiator that the user has already been requested an update on this, but to give him the choice to send it, anyway.
Sometimes a resource might be more diligent to report when the request comes from the PM rather than from the system.
