Project Summary & Project Status Reports with Notes

Hello,

I'm a new user and I'm trying to run my Project Meetings using the Collaboration View and taking down Notes for each task as I run through these.

    Ideally these might be optionally named Action Items.

Within the Collaboration View I would also like to see the task Start & Finish Dates for reference - a bonus would be being able to also edit dates in this view.

I have been sending out weekly status reports prior to Clarizen using an Excel form that has;
     A few sentences of the Project Summary
     2 or 3 key project issues
     A list of old and new action items
     A schedule snapshot of the active and upcoming tasks.

I don't initially see a way to create this report but I like the way the Collaboration View looks with Notes - there should be a button to export to HTML, JPG, or PDF so I can easily paste it into an email.

I would also like a Project Summary section allowing a paragraph of text to show up prominently in the Current Projects View on top of the task list.  This could be collapse-able to save real estate.

I'd like to second John's last request for the prominent paragraph related to each project.

I did follow Josh's suggestion to bring the Description field into project work views, which was helpful, but limited.  When we edit this field in place, not much text is visible.

This has also lead to us being eager to see set column widths.   

Very good suggestions. Quick FYI, you should be able to set column widths and save them in your custom views within a few releases. I really like the collaboration view suggestion and will definitely push hard for that.

I agree that having these features to report on projects are good additions.
